Context

Australia is a wonderful land of action sports. Queensland region will host major sporting competitions preparing the the Brisbane Olympic Games coming in 2032. Gold Coast city offers great sporting facilities to athletes notably at the Carrara stadium. In this scope AusCycling federation worked on a setting a world-class BMX Freestyle Park to organize international competitions and train top riders such as Logan Martin, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games champion.

 

Agency mission

AusCycling appointed Hurricane Parks to design and build a tailor-made BMX Freestyle Park with specific needs. Our experts worked on a modular facility which can be set in 4 different formats: 3 competitions format which fits to the UCI international competitions standards and 1 training format. The 1st format of the park has been set by a local team in early 2022. Goldcoast is now ready to host the first UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup in Australia on December 2022.
